Just my style:)

Who ever said knitting wasn’t cool clearly has been living under a rock for quite some time. I am basically just exploring and learning new things all the time. I don’t have a hobby so i am just focused on whats keeping me busy at the moment. Things that i have done for a long portion of my life often tend to become things that I end up hate doing while some remain the same.

By the end of the year i think i would tune my life for a more wilder personality with wild colour’s in my hair for the fashion retail industry. I will become more wise of whats trending here and around the world, also dress extravagant in the hopes of being noticed by some fashion guru and get some sort of photo shoot to expand my personality.I have noticed faded hair colour’s are trending here and there along with soft pastel toning, and  extreme clothing fashion which are becoming WOW factors. So for now i’ll wither and wonder whats trending next.

Life

Life is a coin, you can either spend it anyway you wish but you can only spend it once. The healthiest response to life is joy. What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles to be sure, but scattered among life’s pathway. The good they do is inconceivable.

We must learn to live together as brothers to perish together as fools. Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, a touch that never hurts. Gather that smiles today, tomorrow will be dying your rosebuds while you may. Old times is still a-flying. And this same flower

Sunny Days in Cape Town

Reaching out to the world brings great hope.

I will tear my eyes away from the terrifying abyss of life and look within, where the God of my understanding resides. So expect good things,we don’t always get what we want but we often get what we expect. Reach out and don’t always expect something in return as for those who awaits without patience does not receive good will. You have to see through the eyes of another persons heart, rather than constantly scanning the horizon with your critical mind and remember that life is about perspective, after all and not just you.

Morning at the Bush & Taxi radio station

Radio hopping on a Tuesday morning with Monique,Rabia,Margo,Nathaniel & Angelo.

Our first stop was Bush radio station, a big thank you to Bradley Naaido for dropping us off safely. We were intervied on our roles at Rlabs and just a bit more about ourselves and the wonderful work we do for the communities. At first i was nervous and panicked like crazy but simply just enjoyed myself observing as the rest did their thing. Our second stop was the Taxi radio station were i felt more comfortable in speaking on air in front of the many people whom was there on arrival. Soli Philander the founder of this radio station was just so funny, i was cracking up of laughter and joy. We interacted in the topics discussed and it was all fun and Leaving was not so fun haha.

Good to be back but still miss Stellenbosch

Another sunny morning in Bridgetown with all these wonderful people surrounding me. I am at my desk still feeling the essence of Stellenbosch and the friendly people I met at the Boot camp. I am positive that i will learn more through the Grow Academy and will surely meet more people who share the same interests as i do. Driving back and forth every morning for a week to Stellenbosch was a good feeling, you could actually feel the warmth and the spirit of welcoming and this was a nice start to the blue mornings. GivenGain has done such a wonderful job offering us so many in order to enhance our knowledge in different fields. Day 5 was a sad one as we had to say good bye to the other recruits, i even felt like shedding a tear because they were great sport and intelligent people who taught me a lot too. I am very sure we will meet up again!

For me thus far Grow academy has been great and learn’t me a lot as well as the other recruits. We now know how to use many tools and even have our very own website. So yes Grow has planted a seed in me! Leaving and soon returning will be spectacular.

This is a awsome place!

Me myself and i along with the team at RLabs took a week out to attend the Grow Academy at GivenGain were taught how to use different tools especially to make our very own customized website via wordpress, how awsome is that:). We took lots of pictures as it holds memories of wonderful people doing spectacular things. We also met many people and that was amazing as they welcomed us into this place with warmth. Few of us took time out in our break to explore and just visit a few museums and boutiques, this was fun we experienced laughter and joy and learned about our heritage at the same time… GREAT STUFF
